Police have laid charges against two teenagers after a 16-year-old boy’s burned body was found in an alley in Regina.

REGINA — Police have laid charges against two teenagers after a 16-year-old boy’s burned body was found in an alley in Regina.

A 17-year-old youth is accused of second-degree murder, committing an indignity to a dead body and weapons offences.

A second teen is charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder and indignity to a dead body.

The two were scheduled to make their first court appearance Friday morning.

Officers were sent out Thursday after police received a call of a sick or injured person.

The name of the dead teen was not released.
