SASKATOON — Police say a Saskatoon woman was stabbed with a screwdriver and a large fork during a home invasion in the middle of the night.

They say the 41-year-old was also confined with tape and sexually assaulted.

Three male suspects stole electronics, food and clothing from the house before fleeing.

The woman was treated in hospital and released.

Another woman and two children, 11 and 14 years old, were unharmed and slept through the attack.

Police say they don’t have a good description of the suspects because their faces were covered.
