15 charges face man wanted by Red Deer RCMP

RCMP have issued an arrest warrant for man wanted on 15 charges including numerous breaches of court orders.

Michael Searle Skinner, 47, is wanted on the charges which include both provincial and Criminal Code offences.

Const. Sabrina Grunow of city RCMP said Skinner is wanted for eight counts of breaching probation, failing to attend court, false presences, fraud and theft of more than $5,000, theft of less than $5,000, driving with no insurance and driving a motor vehicle while unauthorized.

Skinner has a lengthy criminal record including defrauding a senior citizen out of several thousand dollars on the pretext the money would be used for an operation in the United States.

Skinner is white and has brown hair and brown eyes. He is 1.85 metres (six feet, one inch) tall and weighs 105 kg (230 pounds).

He was believed to be last living in Red Deer.
