Singing his best Blue Suede Shoes impression, this Elvis impersonator along with his 1950s-era dancers, got a rousing response from the people along the parade route in Sylvan Lake on Saturday. 1913 Days kicked off Friday with a barbecue and Legion meat draw. On Saturday, the day started with a volunteer firefighter pancake breakfast followed in the afternoon with the parade. Sunday events included a baseball tournament, ice cream parlour, a kid zone, Rockapalooza dance revolution, and the day was to finish with a soda pop grill.
