Beginning Monday, traffic will be diverted to the eastbound lanes on 19th Street as the next phase of road construction takes place.
The westbound lanes between 40th Avenue and Irwin Avenue will be closed starting Monday and traffic will be diverted to eastbound lanes. This final portion of the 2023 work is anticipated to be complete by mid-October.
Starting at 6 a.m. on Tuesday the eastbound lanes between Gaetz Avenue and 40th Avenue will be reopened and the intersections of 19th Street and 46th Avenue and 19th Street and Sharpe Avenue will be fully opened.
Drivers are reminded to slow down when approaching or driving in construction areas and obey all signs. Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated.
