2018 Women of Excellence nominee reveal on Thursday

The Red Deer & District Community Foundation will announce the names of this year’s Women of Excellence nominees on Thursday at the Red Deer Museum and Art Gallery.

Women have been nominated in the following categories: Agriculture, Arts, Culture & Heritage, Athletics, Recreation & Fitness, Business and the Professions, Community Building, Education and Training, Entrepreneurship, Environment, Health and Wellness, Human Services and Young Women of Excellence.

The Women of Excellence Awards Gala is a celebration of innovation, leadership, achievements and talent as demonstrated by women in our community. The awards program honours the contributions of nominees, who serve as role models for women and girls.

This year’s gala is June 6, 2018.
