21-year-old charged with drug trafficking in Rocky Mountain House

RCMP seized drugs after conducting a traffic stop and charged a 21-year-old man with drug trafficking.

On March 17, Rocky Mountain House RCMP conducted a traffic stop with a suspicious vehicle in the Town of Rocky Mountain House.

During the course of an Alberta Traffic Safety Act investigation, a significant amount of cocaine, methamphetamine, and marijuana was seized, along with other evidence to support drug trafficking.

A former resident of Rocky Mountain House, has been charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, and two counts of possession of controlled substance.

The suspect is set to appear in Alberta Provincial Court in Rocky Mountain House on March 28, to answer to the charges.
