The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit is investigating a Red Deer murder.
Red Deer RCMP received a report of an unconscious man in the area of 58 Avenue and 61 Street in the city at about 2:30 a.m. on Thursday.
EMS transported the man to an area hospital, where was pronounced dead.
The death was determined to be a homicide following an autopsy, which was performed Friday.
