Alberta Seniors Advocate coming to Red Deer

Alberta Seniors Advocate Sheree Kwong See will speak in Red Deer at the Golden Circle on March 3.

The public meeting will run from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. for those who want to learn more about the roles and responsibilities of the Office of the Seniors Advocate.

Kwong See, who was appointed in September, will answer questions following her presentation.

Kwong See is a psychology professor at the University of Alberta who is considered a Canadian expert on the psychology of aging

The Office of the Seniors Advocate provides information and links seniors to government or community programs and services, analyzes trends and identifies systemic issues affecting seniors, and makes recommendations to the province to improve services and programs.
