The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team arrested three people in Lacombe earlier this month in connection with drug activity.
The trio of suspects have charges pending and are not being named at this time. According to police, the arrests took place on May 5 after a Lacombe residence and vehicle were searched by investigators.
They allege the home was associated with drug activity and investigators seized quantities of methamphetamine, miscellaneous pills, two handguns, and three rifles.
“Organized crime impacts every community, and this investigation is a strong example of police agencies working together to take drugs and guns off the street,” said Insp. Sean Boser, ALERT Regional teams.
