Red Deer and District Chamber of Commerce’s Amazing Race-style event is back by popular demand.
Last year’s event went so well, the September Chamber Chase is back.
The event is an interactive style of activities designed along the lines of the popular The Amazing Race TV shows. Participants will go to a member organization and will be given a task to complete, such as building or painting something, a physical task or a mind teaser. New tasks have been dreamed up for this year’s event.
The fall event will take place at River Bend Golf & Recreation Area on Sept. 8 from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
The chase will begin and end at the River Bend Golf & Recreation Area where participants will get their clues and will return to finish. The results of the race will be announced and a trophy for the winner handed out.
Each team will needs two to four people, a smartphone and a vehicle.
Registration is required and costs $30 per car. Registration space is limited.
