Eric Boersma had been making way his along one of several corridors of caged fowl at the Innisfail Auction Mart's biannual Odd and Unsual Sale on Saturday, when a curious African Goose decided poke it's head through the slats.



Eric Boersma had been making way his along one of several corridors of caged fowl at the Innisfail Auction Mart’s biannual Odd and Unsual Sale on Saturday, when a curious African Goose decided poke it’s head through the slats.

His first impulse was to give it a gentle pat on the head, but after several warning hisses he though twice about his intended gesture.

The sale once again featured a plethora of exotic birds, rabbits and other animals that were auctioned off to a packed house.
