For the second straight day, Environment Canada has declared a severe thunderstorm watch in Central Alberta.
Residents of Red Deer, Ponoka, Innisfail and Stettler are urged to stay updated on developing weather conditions Wednesday afternoon and take appropriate precautions.
The thunderstorms are expected to pass this evening, followed by cloudy periods.
Red Deer saw small amounts of hail and torrential rainfall Tuesday evening, accompanied by thunder and lightning.
