The city of Red Deer is looking for individuals to fill positions on 10 different committees and boards.
Each volunteer position has a different level of commitment and terms vary in length.
Those interested in joining a board, committee or commission should complete the required application form and submit it to Legal & Legislative Services.
Application forms must be submitted before September 25, 2023 by 9 a.m.
“We know that there are many Red Deerians that have experience, knowledge and ideas to help shape our community,” said Rebecca Derwantz, Committees Coordinator. “This is a great way to get involved and contribute to everyday life in Red Deer.”
Community members are encouraged to submit their application(s) for an open position on one of the following:
Housing and Homelessness Integration Committee
Intermunicipal Subdivision and Development Appeal Board
Mayor’s Recognition Awards Committee
Library Board
Municipal Planning Commission (MCP)
Public Art Commission
Red Deer & District Family and Community Support Services Board
Red Deer Subdivision & Development Appeal Board
Red Deer Tribunals
River Bend Golf & Recreation Society Board
