Armed robbers hit Westpark Fas Gas, again

Two weeks after a shooting during a robbery, the West Park Fas Gas was the target of another armed robbery.

On September 24 at about 11:15 p.m. a male and a female entered the Westpark Fas Gas located at 4305 55th Avenue in Red Deer. The female suspect stole two lighters then purchased one lighter and left the store. The male suspect purchased one lighter and as he was walking out the door he pulled a baton from his sleeve and threatened to kill the employee.

At about 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday, a male and female entered the gas station and convenience store located at 4305 55th Ave. in Red Deer.

Red Deer RCMP said the female suspect stole two lighters, purchased another lighter and then left the store.

The male suspect purchased one lighter and as he was walking out the door, he pulled out a baton from his sleeve and threatened to kill the employee.

Both suspects fled the scene in a silver Pontiac Grand Am.

No one was injured during this robbery.

Police describe the female suspect as aboriginal between the ages of 25 and 30 with dark hair, wearing a camouflage jacket and wearing thick-brimmed glasses.

The male suspect is described as Caucasian, between the ages of 20 and 25, wearing a ball cap and a dark jacket. He had a thin beard along his jaw line and circular tattoos bordering his face.
