Armed robbery reported at Central Alberta motel

Police are investigating an armed robbery reported at the Super 8 Motel in Innisfail early Monday morning.

Innisfail RCMP said three male suspects, two of which had firearms, demanded money from them hotel manager at about 4:10 a.m.

A suspect, who carried a pistol, was described as Caucasian, tall and muscular. He wore jeans and a grey Under Armour hoody.

The other armed suspect had a sawed-off shotgun. He was Caucasian and short, and wore all black.

The third suspect was Caucasian and tall with a chubby belly. He wore a grey hoody, jeans and a black ball hat.

All three suspects left in a vehicle described as a silver, lifted, Chevrolet Dura Max truck.
