Arrest made after attempted kidnapping

Few details were released on Friday.

But police confirm one person is in custody and charges are expected to be laid.

Police received a call for a report of a kidnapping in a parking lot on the northeast corner 67th Street and Gaetz Avenue around 9 a.m.

A suspect was arrested and taken into police custody around 10:10 a.m.

The male victim and the suspect are known to one another. The victim was unharmed.
