Arrest warrant issued for suspect in Sylvan Lake armed robbery

Sylvan Lake RCMP have issued an arrest warrant for a man believed to be armed and dangerous and wanted in an armed robbery.

Kevin Gray Taylor, 30, of no fixed address, and believed to often be travelling between Alberta and Manitoba, is wanted following the robbery by a man with a large knife at the Booster Juice on 47th Avenue in Sylvan Lake on Sept. 16. The arrest warrant was issued on Thursday.

Following their investigation, RCMP have charged Taylor with robbery, uttering threats to cause bodily harm and wearing a disguise with intent to commit a crime.

Taylor is described as Caucasian, 1.78 metres (five feet 10 inches) tall, 91 kg (200 pounds), brown hair, blue eyes, and is known to be operating a 2000 black four-door Chevrolet Impala with Manitoba licence plates HAC 387. One window on the driver’s side is missing.

Police said the public should not approach him. Instead, call police immediately.
