This year’s art exhibit by Red Deer high school students can be viewed online, due to pandemic restrictions.

The Red Deer Arts Council and Red Deer Public Schools are pleased to present, Hang-ups and Insights: The 13th Annual IB and AP Art Show.

It features the works of Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School and Hunting Hills High School students and will run until June 30 on the Red Deer Arts Council’s social media platforms and website, www.reddeerartscouncil.ca/programs/kiwanis-gallery.

The exhibit features art made by the 2021 graduating students of the Advanced Placement and the International Baccalaureate Art Programs.

Every year there are new things to see through this show — from installation art to ceramics to prints and drawings. This exhibit showcases the young people who will be the next generation of talented Canadian artists.

They invite central Albertans to explore their work with them.
