Sylvan Lake RCMP are investigating the theft of three original oil paintings that were taken sometime between Feb. 27 and 28.
Police said the paintings were stolen during a break-in at a seasonal residence near the boat launch on Kuusamo Krest in Lacombe County. An unknown vehicle accessed the residence after pulling up to the dock. The oil paintings, silverware and a media centre were taken.
The paintings are very unique items and should be easily identifiable to the public, or pawn shops or on buy & sell sites.
