Spring has sprung and the asparagus spears are reaching for the sun at Edgar Farms southwest of Innisfail. The tasty green shoots will be available to the public at the farm’s annual Asparagus Festival, which this year will take place on June 1, 8 and 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition to asparagus and other foods, each of the three Sundays will feature attractions such as a petting zoo, hay rides and other children’s activities.
