An ATM was stolen during a break-in at Servus Credit Union in Bentley early Monday morning.

RCMP Cpl. Troy Savinkoff said Sylvan Lake RCMP received an alarm call from the Bentley bank at 4:11 a.m. and a witness saw a truck dragging the ATM down the road.

The bank doors had been pried open, and the empty, damaged ATM was dumped near Bentley off of Highway 12.

“At this time RCMP believe that there were two vehicles involved, a truck and a smaller sedan, and the investigation continues,” Savinkoff said.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact Sylvan Lake RCMP. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), online at www.P3Tips.com or by using the “P3 Tips” app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store.
