A “Bag of Books” sale will be held next week outside Red Deer Public Library’s downtown branch.
The sale, organized by Friends of the Red Deer Public Library, will feature hundreds of pre-filled genre bags for $10 each. No peeking allowed and exact cash only.
Patrons must use hand sanitizer and wear masks. Masks will be provided, if necessary.
The sale runs outside the north doors, near City Hall Park, on Sept. 21 to 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
On Sept. 26 and 27, the sale will be outside the south doors, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
There will be no access to the library for the public, so washrooms will not be available.
