Bernie and Red to bring comedy to Red Deer

Bernie and Red are once again bringing their distinctly British blend of music and humour to Red Deer.

Bernie and Red are once again bringing their distinctly British blend of music and humour to Red Deer.

The married entertainers believe laughter is the best medicine, so they’re preparing to deliver a good dose of it at the Legion on Thursday. Their show has been honed through extensive touring throughout the American southwest last winter.

Now the couple, originally from Liverpool, are back in their adopted country of Canada. Having recently celebrated their 43rd anniversary, they say their years together have given them no end of material for their comedy routines, which have resulted in a half-dozen CDs, including a new one made up of shows from the past three years.

Bernie and Red will perform at 7 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion.

Tickets are $7 for Legion members or $10 for non-members.
