BGC Red Deer will receive $35,000 to deliver Raise The Grade program until July 31, 2022.
BGC Canada announced the funding Monday, which is from RBC and Employment and Social Development Canada.
“Our Vision is that ‘all young people discover and achieve their full potential’ and this critical support from RBC and Employment and Social Development Canada will propel us forward towards that Vision,” said Rob Lewis, executive director.
“Building on a strong education makes it possible for youth to achieve what would have otherwise been out of reach. My heartfelt thanks on behalf of the youth who will take advantage of Raise the Grade program this fall.”
Raise the Grade is a BGC Canada National Program that supports high school youth to gain the skills they need to be successful in school, work and life.
