ALDERSYDE — RCMP say charges are being considered after a motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a minivan south of Calgary.

The accident happened Monday evening on Highway 2, just north of Aldersyde.

Police say the van — driven by a 48-year-old woman — crossed into the path of a motorbike driven by the 30-year-old man.

He was unable to avoid the crash and died at the scene.

The victim’s name has not been released.

Investigators say weather, speed and alcohol were not factors.
