Blackfalds Mounties looking for two suspects in ATM theft from Gasoline Alley hotel

Thieves stole an ATM out of the main lobby of a Gasoline Alley hotel and police are looking for two suspects.

Friday evening, the suspects are allegedly drove to the main door of the Howard Johnson Motel on the east side of Gasoline Alley, south of Red Deer.

Blackfalds RCMP said the suspects drove an older sandy coloured Ford quad cab with a sanding hopper attachment.

They stole an ATM from the main lobby and left the scene heading north towards Red Deer.

Police have not identified a licence plate yet. The ATM was damaged and only the bottom section was taken, attempts are being made to obtain a serial number.
