Blackfalds RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance regarding a dangerous dirt bike driver.

RCMP received several complaints of a young male driving dangerously on a red and white dirt bike through the town of Blackfalds on Tuesday at approximately 9:30 p.m.

The driver is described as being in his 20s and he was wearing a black sleeveless shirt and blue jeans, as well as a white baseball cap, which he had on backwards.

Officers attempted to stop him twice, but the driver fled.

The suspect may be linked to previous complaints about dangerous driving, say Blackfalds RCMP.

“As this may be an ongoing issue, the police are concerned the driver may be a danger to himself and/or others on the road,” the RCMP said Wednesday morning.

The Blackfalds RCMP detachment can be reached at 403-885-3300.
