Blackfalds RCMP looking to identify armed robbery suspects

Blackfalds RCMP is asking the public to help identify two men who robbed a gas station last week.

Blackfalds RCMP is asking the public to help identify two men who robbed a gas station last week.

Police received a 911 call reporting an armed robbery at a Petro Canada store in the Aspen Lakes Boulevard area in Blackfalds around 8 a.m. on May 21.

Two men wearing face coverings entered the store with what is believed to be a firearm and demanded cash and other goods. A quantity of cash and goods were obtained before the suspects fled from the store in what appears to be a 2009-2010 black or dark blue Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab pickup truck.

The first male suspect is described as thin and was wearing a black and white bandana, black sweatshirt, plaid undershirt, welding gloves and jeans.

The other male suspect is described as Caucasian and thin, with a neck tattoo on the right site. He was wearing a black toque.
