Man arrested after suspected arson in Blackfalds

One man is facing charges after a suspected arson at a shop in Blackfalds on Friday.

Fire crews responded to a report of a fire inside a shop at a rural residence outside of Blackfalds around noon on Friday. Police arrested one man in relation to the fire at the scene.

The fire was limited to the shop. There were no injuries.

Charges are pending. No other details were released.
