Canadian Blood Services clinic assistant Marliss Savage takes the blood pressure of first time donor Courtney Coffin, 17, in the Notre Dame High School gymnasium Wednesday.

The school kicked off the seventh annual High School Challenge where the city’s three high schools vie for most donation bragging rights.

Clinics go Friday at École Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and at Hunting Hills High School May 15th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Donors at the Canadian Blood Services offices located at Suite 5, 5020-68th St. can also designate their donations in support of a school.
