The organization re-opened its new expanded offices this week after two months of renovations. Still located at No. 5, 5020 68th St., the $420,000 expansion features more space, a new screening room and plenty of natural light. Hours of operation have also changed: Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays from 2 to 7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Walk-ins are always welcome though donors can also call 1-888-2Donate (1-888-236-6283) for appointments. Don’t forget to dedicate your donation this month to either the RCMP or Emergency Services during the Sirens of Life Challenge. Fire-medics are leading their crime busting colleagues 111 to 70 blood donations.
