Blue cart ambassadors arriving next week
Recycling Council of Alberta ambassadors will be looking in blue carts in Red Deer to assess how households are putting their recycling skills to use starting Monday.
The RCA Ambassadors are post-secondary students hired by the RCA to support waste reduction projects.
“The cart program has been in single-family homes for a few years now, and last year we provided enhanced recycling information and tools to multi-family properties in the city,” said Marilyn Moore, City of Red Deer waste diversion specialist.
“Now we want to assess how households are recycling to determine how we can improve our recycling programs and our service to residents.”
