Blues/folk/country musician kicks off new season of Red Deer’s Golden Circle Concert Series

Art Barker will perform on Saturday, Sept. 28

Nostalgia-tinged country-rock and blues will be performed this month at the Golden Circle.

Western Canadian singer/songwriter Art Barker will take the stage on Saturday, Sept. 28, to kick off a new season of the Golden Circle Concert Series.

Barker is a recording artist in a variety of genres, including blues, folk-rock and country.

Through his musical storytelling, Barker strives to create a sense of excitement that connects audiences of all generations.

Barker has been a musician for four decades and has been played on the radio in North America and Europe, as well as performing regularly in Canada and the Caribbean.

He released the eclectic album Somewhere Under the Radar, which includes the track No Small Change, which has a video on YouTube.

Tickets to the 7 p.m. show are $20 from the Golden Circle.
