Travis Rain was last seen in the community formerly known as Hobbema on Jan. 17 but was not reported missing to police until Jan. 24. Rain’s body was found about 4:40 p.m. in an open area about 1.5 km south of Hwy 611.

RCMP are continuing to investigate the death, which is not considered suspicious at this time. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
