Boil water advisory issued for part of West Park

About a dozen properties affected on 59th Ave. Cres. near 38th Street

A boil water advisory was issued on Thursday for a dozen properties in West Park.

City of Red Deer employees hand-delivered notices to residents on a stretch of 59th Ave. Cres. near 38th Street.

The advisory will remain in place until water tests confirm that there is no contamination, says the city. When the advisory is lifted, notices will be delivered to the affected properties and the advisory will be removed from the city’s website at

Addresses affected include: 3511, 3512, 3515, 3516, 3519, 3520, 3523, 3527, 3531, 3535, 3539 and 3543 59th Ave. Cres.
