After years of planning and months of construction, the new feature is almost ready for area climbers.
Staff will be trained over the next month and the feature will be open to the public starting in July.
The bouldering room will have a padded floor so climbers will not need ropes to stop them from falling. The 4.8 metre x 6 metre x 3.6 metre high room cost about $70,000 to build.
