Boy shot on Alberta farm released from hospital, expected to fully recover

RCMP say a six-year-old boy who was shot at a farm in central Alberta is expected to make a full recovery.

BEISEKER — RCMP say a six-year-old boy who was shot at a farm in central Alberta is expected to make a full recovery.

The boy was shot Tuesday at the family farm near Beiseker.

Police say he has been released from hospital and investigators are working with the Crown to determine if anyone will be charged.

RCMP say the shooting was an accident involving a small-calibre firearm.

No other details were released.

The boy was treated at the Calgary Children’s Hospital.
