The City of Red Deer is replacing a bridge culvert near the boat launch close to Riverbend Drive.
Construction will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 11 and is expected to last approximately four weeks. During construction, the picnic area, boat launch and upper and lower parking lots will be closed to the public.
The perimeter trail travelling over the culvert will also be closed with a detour in place.
Signs will notify drivers and pedestrians of the closures. Users are reminded to slow down and obey all signs in construction zones.
