Over the next week the old CP Rail pedestrian bridge spanning the Red Deer River will be undergoing some needed repairs. Work got underway on Monday with limited pedestrian access, but the bridge is expected to be closed to foot and bicycle traffic this week while crews do their work. The bridge is expected to be free of equipment when it reopens on June 7. During this time period the bridge will be open to the public during evening hours.
