Contrasts, a three-dimensional fibre piece depicting cherry blossoms, is part of Vickie Newington’s new show Building Texture in the Red Deer Public Library’s Kiwanis Gallery. The exhibit co-sponsored by the library and the Red Deer and District Allied Arts Council runs until Feb. 7 with a closing reception that day from 2 to 4 p.m.
