Residents are invited to have their say on proposed bylaw changes that affect the East Hill at a public hearing in Red Deer city council chambers on June 10.

City council proposes amendments to the Municipal Development Plan, the East Hill Major Area Structure Plan and the Land Use Bylaws. The changes are needed to add the 2009 annexation area to the east, to update policies and to allow for additional objectives related to the neighbourhood design.

The meeting is slated for 6 p.m. in council chambers on the second floor of City Hall.

To include your letter or petition on the council agenda, submit to Manager of Legislative Services by June 3.

Otherwise, you may attend the meeting and have your say in person.
