CALGARY — Police in Calgary are trying to determine if a fire that killed five men on the weekend is suspicious.

Fire crews responded to the house fire in the city’s northeast early Saturday and quickly brought it under control.

The bodies of five adult men were recovered from the home.

Police say it’s standard procedure when someone dies in a fire to bring in officers to investigate.

Interviews with witnesses are continuing.

Autopsies are underway and are expected to be completed today or Tuesday.
