Calgary police seeking “person of interest ” in indecent act investigation

Man is person of interest in alleged January masturbation incident at Calgary theatre

Calgary Police Service is investigating an indecent act and is asking for help identifying a person of interest.

On Jan. 27 police were called about 8:30 p.m. to a movie theatre located at 91 Crowfoot Terrace N.W., for reports of a man masturbating in one of the theatres. When the man realized he was being watched, he left the theatre through an emergency exit, say police.

The man was described as Caucasian, in his 40s, 5’7” to 5’9” tall, with a heavy build and light hair. He was wearing a black jacket and black pants.

Investigators are releasing CCTV photos of a person of interest in this case with the hope that he can be identified and questioned as part of the investigation.
