Canada’s first female astronaut will speak at a Red Deer Regional Health Foundation event next month.
Dr. Roberta Bondar, also the country’s first neurologist in space, will be the keynote speaker at The Lunchbox Experience at the Cambridge Hotel and Conference Centre on Sept. 23.
Comedians Erica Sigurdson and Dave Hemstad, both regularly featured on CBC’s The Debaters, will perform as well.
Proceeds will go toward ceiling-mounted patient lifts at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre.
