The Advocate’s Best of Red Deer Readers’ Choice Awards are back.
Community members are encouraged to enter their favourite businesses and earn a chance to win $500 in Save-On-Foods gift cards.
“Best of Red Deer gives people the chance to say thanks to the businesses that brighten their days with good service and great products,” said Mary Kemmis, publisher of the Red Deer Advocate and president of Black Press Media’s Prairie Division.
“It’s so gratifying to shine a spotlight on the diversity of businesses that call our city home. Despite the obstacles that have faced us, the pride and resilience of our business community is inspiring.”
The annual contest, which recognizes businesses that provide exceptional service and great products in the city, opened July 15, and the deadline to cast votes is midnight Aug. 23.
If you nominate 10 businesses, you will receive one entry in the draw for the gift cards. If you nominate 20 businesses, you get two entries, and 30 nominations will get you four entries.
If you fill in all 96 categories, you get 15 bonus entries in the draw for the gift cards.
