Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre has announced its One Day Challenge is back.

The CACAC 50/50 Cash Lottery supports the children and youths of Central Alberta who are affected by child abuse.

This upcoming Thursday, the centre is aiming to sell 1,301 ticket packages, which is one for every child and youth the centre has supported.

“This is our third One Day Challenge. For the past two years our community has rallied behind us, behind the kids that we support, by taking part in the challenge,” said CEO Mark Jones.

“We know this year’s goal is a lofty one, but we also know the strength of our community and hope that we can once again achieve our goal.

“With many of our signature events postponed, our 50/50 lottery is more crucial than ever to help fund many of our initiatives and programs so we can continue to provide support, comfort and healing to the children that need us.”
