A friend has organized an online fundraiser for the family whose trailer caught fire early Friday.

A seven-year-old girl died in the incident, west of Red Deer, and her mother and two younger brothers were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

GoFundMe fundraiser organizer Jodi Bisio writes her best friend Sarah loves her children very much.

“The whole world knows that Charlotte is gone and Sarah has no clue, she is in induced coma and doesn’t know exactly what her world is about to be if she waked up.”

“Her son Sammy walked away with a burn on his arm, Benjamin is in life threatening but stable condition with almost 85 per cent burns and Sarah 75 per cent burns.”

The best friend writes Sarah has gone through another tragedy recently where she lost brother, father and husband.

“Sarah lost not only her beautiful daughter in the fire, but her husband’s ashes and all what he owned as well as her dad’s and brother’s precious things they left behind including their cuddly critters.”

The central Alberta family is in need to donations and many prayers, Bisio stated.

“They have little hope for little Benji as he has already went through five diffrent surgeries.”

The friend’s fundraiser has raised about $7,500 for the family as of Sunday at noon. The goal is $10,000.
