Central Alberta man charged after firearms stolen

A Drumheller man was recently charged in connection with a 2019 break and enter at a residence where multiple firearms were stolen.

Drumheller RCMP said the alleged break and enter happened in the early hours of March 28, 2019 in the New Castle area of Drumheller where three firearms, fuel cards, and Canadian currency were stolen.

None of the firearms have been recovered.

A 52-year old man was charged with break and enter to a residence and break and enter to steal a firearm. The man was in custody and will appear in Drumheller Provincial Court on Jan. 21.
