A Maskwacis man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of a woman at Ermineskin Cree Nation last December.
Maskwacis RCMP were called to assist EMS at a home on Ermineskin Cree Nation about 1:50 p.m. on Dec. 9
“A female was found deceased on the floor of the living room and appeared to have suffered injuries,” said RCMP at the time
RCMP Major Crimes were called in to investigate.
Last Friday, Kaydence Clarke Roasting, 18, of the Ermineskin Cree Nation, was arrested without incident at his residence.
Roasting has been charged with second-degree murder and has been remanded into custody. He will appear in Wetaskiwin Provincial Court on Jan. 28.
